Our guest speaker will be Jessica Palmer, CFCS, a specialist in financial crimes investigations with a focus on anti-money laundering and terrorism detection. Her expertise includes identity theft and account takeovers; complex money-laundering schemes involving drug smuggling, human trafficking, child sex trafficking, war crimes, high-risk FATF country trading, cryptocurrency, and P2P transactions; as well as elder financial exploitation, phishing, cybercrime, check kiting, and high-risk wire transfers. She holds the Certified Financial Crime Specialist (CFCS) designation and is trained in Wicklander interview and interrogation techniques, with additional certifications in human trafficking prevention, domestic violence prevention, and active shooter and bomb threat response.
